Film: Life of Pi
Director: Ang Lee
Cast: Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Adil Hussain, Rafe Spall and Tabu
‘’Life of Pi’’ is a fantastic achievement of storytelling and a bench mark of visual mastery. The film is based on Yann Martel’s 2001 novel of the same name. The story begins with a small family zoo in Pondicherry, India where a Christian boy Piscine is raised. Piscine simply translates from French to English as ‘swimming pool’. But in India, where people speak more English than French, his playmates make fun of his name by nicknaming him ‘pee’. Determined to put an end to this, he adopts the name ‘Pi’. ‘Pi’ is a mathematical constant that begins with 3.14 and never ends, and that is an ideal name for a boy that has no boundaries or limitations.
When the zoo runs out of money, Pi's father packs up his few valuable creatures and sails for Canada with his family. A zebra, an orangutan, a hyena, and the lion fall into the boat with Pi in a horrific series of falls and are carried away by the high waves. He never sees his family again, and the last thing we see of the ship is its lights vanishing into the ocean. Somehow Pi survives, but he is not alone, a fearsome Bengal tiger fancily named as ‘Richard Parker’ has also found a way to aboard the life boat.
The film shows the relationship between the tiger and the boy. As days turn into weeks and weeks drag to months, Pi and Richard Parker must learn to trust each other if both are to survive. It is indeed a great film that teaches us a life lesson that one has to treat everything, especially nature and wildlife, with kindness and grace. When we begin to treat Mother Earth and her creatures with respect and kindness, we may just begin to experience changes in other areas of our lives as well.

The first book in the Kingdom of Fantasy series, The “Kingdom of Fantasy”,is an extraordinary reimagining of the overwhelming and energising fantasies.
It was a worthwhile adventure and a very inspiring story. It is truly ‘The Kingdom of Fantasy’, as children's fantasies come to life. It's mind-blowing to experience such an amazing adventure in a mysterious world! There is suspense, humour, and adventure in this tale.
The difference between this and other series is that the author put a lot of effort into it, and the story is much longer as the story is stretched by adding unrelated parts, but it is interesting to read every bit of it.
This story is good for people who don't speak English well because it is easy to read and you can collect a lot of new words. It is also good for language skills.
When you are away from home, when you are bored, or as a bedtime story this is a good one, in my opinion. It is a wonderful book full of emotions that will make you laugh, cry and be serious.
When I ordered the book, I had high expectations because it was my seventh book but it came up better than my expectations.
Story books are beneficial because they improve your imagination and are fun to read and a book you like this can relieve stress. The book is so good that even if you only read it once, you will remember it for a lifetime.
I will recommend this book for those who haven't read it.I will give five stars on this book. I suggest this book to readers who like adventurous books.
Men and women both hold equal weight to maintain the society. But when they are not treated equally it is called gender inequality. Women should raise their voice for themselves by spreading awareness of women empowerment.Women Empowerment is not just involving women in the decision - making process but it is giving equal rights to women, accepting their thoughts, appreciating their efforts and letting them decide their own profession. So here we have empowered women who empower others, they are biking queens from Surat.
This group is a trio of Dr Sarika Mehta, Jindal Shah and Rutali Patel. And the founder of this group is Dr Sarika Mehta.Although Dr.Sarika has always been interested in adventures and hiking, so returning from such a trip, she met one of her friend (male) on a sportbike and casually asked him to click a picture of her with it.And her friend provoked her that a regular woman like her should be content with climbing mountains instead of aiming for the stars. This statement exasperated Dr Sarika and made her to take it as a challenge to prove women empowerment and begin her journey to ride bike.
Thereafter, she formed a group of empowered Indian women bikers and named the group “Biking Queens”. Biking Queens are also awarded World Book Of Records Certificate on 2016 in London. They were awarded for covering three different continents -Asia, Europe and Africa. They also claim to be India’s first women rider to cover 21,000km and 21 nations of three different continents.
Their expedition promotes women empowerment across the world.
il y a plus de fleurs
Pour ma mère en mon coeur
Que dans tous les vergers
Plus de merles rieurs
Pour ma mère en mon coeur
Que dans le monde entier
Et bien pus de baisers
Pour ma mère en mon coeur
Qu'on pourrait en donner
There are more flowers
For my mother in my heart
Than in all the orchards
More laughing blackbirds
For my mother in my heart
That around the world
And many more kisses
For my mother in my heart
What we could give
