The most interesting and awaited period for we students is the CCA period. Students look forward to participating in the activities as per their interest. The CCA activity for classes IX and X kick started with the ‘DEBATE’. A debate aims to improve communication, confidence and critical thinking skills in the participants.

The topic of the preliminaries for classes IX and X was a thought provoking one- ‘ Animals should not be kept in the zoos’. Students participated enthusiastically. They put forward their arguments with confidence.It was a wonderful brainstorming session for the audience too !!

After a healthy competition in the prelims, two students were selected from each of the four houses-AUROBINDO, DAYANAND,TAGORE AND VIVEKANAND HOUSE. On the D-day everyone was eager to see their house debate. The topic of the debate was Fast Food Culture Increases Obesity. All the participants presented their points strongly and stood by them.Each one of the teams argued well. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the debate.
