SELF-STUDY - “The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.”

The aim of teaching is to make the students to self-direct their own learning. For almost all students, learning is innate, which is why they prefer learning on their own by exploring, observing, questioning, and participating.

Self-study allows students to learn at their own pace and focusing on areas they are most interested in. This helps reduce feelings of frustration, anxiety, or boredom that students may struggle with in a classroom setting.

Children, whose parents are involved with homework and engagement in their education are related to better academic performance, social skills and have great self – confidence.

Parental involvement increases creativity and enhances critical-thinking skills in children. This creates a positive learning environment at home The time together enlightens parents as to exactly what their child’s strengths and weaknesses are. Parents will also be aware about what is being learned in school by their child.

Project-based learning activities examples are family tree projects, leaf collections, research papers, and a myriad of other hands-on learning assignments. Children love working with their parents on these assignments as they are enjoyable and fun. This type of learning and engagement also fosters other interests.
