The tiny tots of Sherwood Akshar are excited to be back to school. They are thrilled and their radiant smiles convey how overjoyed they are ! They are delighted to meet their friends physically, spend time with them, share and express their feelings, talking and playing with their peers.

They are grabbing every opportunity to play and explore together, rushing towards the play area, sliding down the slide, climbing to the top of the net, enjoying the merry-go-round, making sand castles, moulds, sand cakes in the sand pit, ready to catch the colourful balls and throw in the baskets, activities which they were missing all the while.

It is amusing and surprising to find them counting how many days they can attend the school before they disperse for the summer break.

As teachers we are happy to see them once again use the indoor play equipment such as the peg board, beads, building blocks and other such educational toys .The art and craft activities are helping them express their emotions and share their feelings, which the tiny ones could not enjoy from the four walls of their house.
