The present generation has unlimited resources to utilize their time on hands-on learning.
The imagination power is high in some students and low in few. The students can learn concepts by doing different activities/experiments in their school and at their home. Instead of learning the concept from the black board, a child can learn it by doing it. When the students learn any concept from black board, there are more possibilities of forgetting the concepts within a few days.
A) Hands-on Learning should be an essential teaching method for the present and future generations. This method helps the children to learn a concept practically than explanation by the teacher and learning from diagrams or videos of the same.
B) Hands-on learning helps the students to understand and remember the concepts for a long term. When a student prepares for the test/exam, he or she does not need to mug up the concepts for marks. Having learnt the concept by doing themselves, students can perform well in the test/exams.
C) By hands-on learning method, students can improve reasoning skills. They come to know how a concept/phenomenon takes place, why it happens and the application of the concept in our daily life. Students can answer the questions on a concept by themselves by doing activities related to it.
D) Hands on learning makes the students more creative.They start thinking scientifically. Their logical thinking gets improved. They try to create new things applying the concepts learnt.

Covid – 19 caused destruction and devastation worldwide. Global pandemic made a difficult decision to shut doors for teachers, students and parents alike which seemed like a temporary, emergency precaution became a new normal for teachers and students. Teachers had to rethink the lesson plans and find different ways of teaching online. The past year has been a challenge for teachers and students in terms of learning. Various issues such as internet connectivity, lack of concentration and capturing the students attention in virtual classrooms proved to be a challenge.
Along with health concerns the following were added to all this. Lack of interest, stress, anxiety, zoom fatigue, lack of classroom ethics and physical activities and loss of education.
The 2021-2022 year was a new year unlike the others. Schools reopened with doubts dealing with the safety of the children.
Parents were unenthusiastic about sending their children to school.
Many children have lost social contact skills. They hesitate interacting with other children and teachers.
According to a survey 78 percent of children were feeling anxious because they were not able to meet friends and teachers, access and understand online learning sessions as they were missing face to face learning.
Now that schools have reopened, teachers are looking forward to teaching in classrooms after a long time.
A child will learn much more by coming to school for two hours a week than what they learn from virtual classrooms.
We teachers feel that the hybrid mode of teaching learning should end soon and we have every child back to school in near future.

आज हमारे बच्चों के पास सब कुछ है I एक बटन दबाने पर सारी दुनिया की जानकारी उन्हें मिलती हैं, पर ये सारी सुख-सुविधा से क्या हमारे बच्चों का विकास हो रहा है ? क्या हमारे बच्चे खुश हैं ?
बीस महीनों बाद आज हम अपने बच्चों से मिले I बहुत खुशी का वातावरण था लेकिन जैसे ही बच्चों ने पाठशाला में प्रवेश किया, बच्चों को मुरझाए हुए फूलों के तरह देखकर महसूस हुआ कि, जैसे पौधों को पानी के साथ-साथ धूप की भी जरूरत होती है, ठीक वैसे ही हमारे बच्चों को अंतर जाल ( इंटरनेट ) के साथ-साथ बाहरी दुनिया, प्राकृतिक साधनों के साथ भी तालमेल होना ज़रूरी है I दिन में एक घंटा तो वह अपने बचपन को दे सकते है, शारीरिक विकास के लिए, खेल कूद के लिए I खेल कूद से हमारे बच्चे फिर खिलें हुए फूल की तरह होंगें और ये हमारी पाठशाला एक हरे-भरे बगीचे की तरह फिर से खिल उठेगी I प्राचीन काल में गुरुकुल में प्रकृति की गोद में खेल-कूद के साथ अनेक गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया जाता था जिससे बच्चों का शारीरिक, बौद्धिक और मानसिक विकास होता था I
आज जिस तरह हम इस महामारी के दिनों में भी हमारे बच्चों को शिक्षा प्राप्त हो इसलिए हम आंतर जाल ( इंटरनेट )का उपयोग कर रहें हैं l आंतर जाल ( इंटरनेट ) के माध्यम से कक्षाएँ लेकर पूरी कोशिश कर रहे है कि, उनको उचित शिक्षा से वंचित न रहना पड़े I वैसे ही इस महामारी के दिनों में बच्चों के लिए खेल कूद की व्यवस्था माता-पिता को करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए I
आज के बालक, कल का भविष्य है I इस भविष्य को उज्ज्वल बनाने के लिए, हम आपसे विनती करते है कि, बच्चों को हर तरह से शारीरिक गतिविधियों का अवसर प्रधान करें I

Let’s help our children to develop an interest in nature from an early age. Let them play with mother nature like mud, sand and water to feel the warmth. Make them gaze at the stars on a clear night, a rainbow when rain takes turns with sunshine, and the changing hues of the sky during the dusk.
Yes, let our children appreciate the beauty of Nature and its wonders. Take them to the planetarium., guide them, understand the solar systems, appreciate the grandness of the Universe. Make them understand the role of Nature and how it keeps us alive. It will help them develop respect for the planet, quiet jobs done by the earthworms, the snakes, the birds, the trees and all that they see around them.
Let our child know the five elements like Earth - Prithvi, Water - Jala, Fire - Tejas, Wind - Vayu, Space - Akasha are our other friends. Get them used to touching cold water. Let children immerse in the moment and experience freedom in making those choices.

దేశమంటే మట్టికాదోయ్ దేశమంటే మనుషులోయ్ . ఎంత గొప్పగా చెప్పారు గురజాడ ఆగష్టు 15 ఏర్పాట్లు జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఆ సెంటర్లో. జనవరి 26 కి ,ఆగష్టు 15 కి మాత్రమే స్నానానికి నోచుకునే గాంధీ తాతగారి ముఖం కళకళలాడుతూ ఉంది. బస్తీ కుర్రాళ్ళు హడావుడిగా ఉన్నారు.ఎవరో వచ్చే రాజకీయ నాయకుడి మీద భక్తో, ఆయనతో దిగే ఫొటోల మీద అనురక్తో తెలియని పరిస్థితి లో చోటా వీధి నాయకులు తెల్లగా మెరిసే ఖద్దరు బట్టలు వేసుకుని కాబోయే మంత్రినన్నట్టు కుర్రాళ్ళ మీద పెత్తనం చేస్తూ హడావిడి చేసెస్తున్నారు. ఇంతలో మంత్రి గారు వచ్చారు. జండావందనం చేశారు. ముఖ్యమైన ఫొటోల ప్రహసనం ముగిసింది.
ఇంతలో అక్కడికి ఒక ముసలాయన వచ్చాడు.అక్కడున్న కుర్రాణ్ణి చూశాడు. దేశభక్తి అంతా మూటకట్టి ఆ గాంధీ బొమ్మ దగ్గర పడేశారన్నట్టుగా ఉంది. .చిత్రవిచిత్రమైన క్రాఫింగ్ .రెండు చేతులనిండా పచ్చబొట్లు.మూడు రంగుల జాతీయ జెండా గుడ్డ తల చుట్టూ కుర్రాళ్ళలో “ఇంత దేశభక్తా!” అలా తిరుగుతూ ఒక యువకుడి దగ్గర ఆగాడు.అతని కండలు పట్టిన భుజంపై ఉన్న పచ్చబొట్టు ఆయన్ను ఆకర్షించింది.
"నేను భారతీయుణ్ణి"అని రాసివున్న అతన్ని పిలిచాడు . అతను వచ్చాడు. భుజంపై ఉన్న పచ్చబొట్టు చూపించి "చాలా బాగుంది.నువ్వు ఏం చేస్తావు."అడిగాడు.
ఆ కుర్రాడు వెంటనే ,"ఏం చేయటం లేదు తాతా"అన్నాడు.ముసలాయన ," పని ఏం చేస్తావు "అడిగాడు. ఆ కుర్రాడు చిన్నగా నవ్వి ,"పనా!మనకేమీ తెలీదు.బైక్ మీద ఫ్రెండ్స్ తో సాయంత్రం దాకా తిరగడం, చీకటయ్యాక మస్తుగా మందు కొట్టడం.లైఫ్ ఎంజాయ్ చేయాలి "అన్నాడు.
ముసలాయన అతని భుజం తట్టి ,"చాలా బాగా చెప్పావయ్యా.అయితే నీకు ఆ భుజం మీద నేను భారతీయుణ్ణని రాసుకునే హక్కు నీకు లేదు. నువ్వేమీ ఆకాశంమీంచి ఊడిపడలేదు.నువ్వు మీ అమ్మానాన్నల సరదాకి నువ్వు పుట్టావు.జస్ట్ ఈ నేల మీద పడ్డావ్ .అంతమాత్రాన నువ్వు భారతీయుడివి కాలేవు.నువ్వు మీ ఇంటికి ఏం చేశావు. ఈ దేశానికి ఏం చేశావు. అప్పుడు నేను భారతీయుణ్ణని చెప్పు. ఊరికే పైపై మెరుగులు చూపించినంత మాత్రాన భారతీయుడివి కాలేవు.వెళ్ళు....దేశం కోసం ఏదైనా చేయి.అప్పుడు చెప్పు."అనేసి. ఈ రోజుల్లో దేశభక్తి ఫేషనైపోయింది. భక్తి ఫేషనైపోయింది. బహిరంగ దానాలు ఫేషనైపోయింది. అంతా ఫేషనే......అని గొణక్కుంటూ వెళ్ళిపోయాడా ముసలాయన.
