SCIENCE : A CURSE OR BOON ?

Let me ask everyone a quick question.

Do you love science ?

Some of you might say a yes whereas others would say a no.

Let me ask everyone another question:

Do you think science in the times of now is a curse or a boon ?

Some of you might say a boon and others a curse.

In today’s world it’s almost impossible to live without science. Deciding whether science is a boon or curse is not as simple as everyone might think, for example, do you think you can live without electricity for a week ? Seems like a no isn’t it ? In my opinion whenever there is a new discovery in science it comes with new problems as well. Let us take the example of our mobile phones. This device was invented for the basic purpose of communication with one another, but today we have almost everything in our cell phones. We spend hours and hours scrolling on our phones and watching eye-catching videos, don’t we ? Also not to mention the harmful radiations caused due to the cell phones as well as the eye problems caused by it.

Let us also look on the bright side, it’s due to science that we have advancement in medical fields and agricultural fields. It used to take hours and hours for booking a train ticket whereas now, it can be done with one simple click.

In today’s times we don’t need to carry cash around, we just need to have our credit cards and with one swipe our payment would be done.

In my honest opinion, it’s both. It depends on how we use it. For example, we can use the phone for boosting our productivity and doing almost everything with just one click, but on the other hand we scroll social media for hours and hours and waste our time.

Everyone knows a coin always has two sides, it’s the same with science, it just depends on the way we use it in our daily life.
