September 5th, Teacher’s Day is a special day for the entire teaching community of our country. Every celebration in our school has its own uniqueness. Teacher’s Day for Sherwoodians is not only a day of celebration but a day of introspection and realization.
On Teacher’s Day, apart from paying tribute to the great scholar, philosopher and a great teacher, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, we teachers of Sherwood and Heritage Valley-The Indian School make this day a memorable one by contemplating on the duties and responsibilities, taking care of each and every unique soul who comes into our hands – Our Students.
Teacher’s Day Celebration in our school standout for its uniqueness. It is marked as Teachers’ Professional Development Programme. Seminar on the ‘Objectives of our school” was the pinnacle of the day. It was a platform where we could sharpen our skills and reinforce the sequences and objectives, the very essence on which our school system is centered on…
We are blessed to be Teachers as it was an extraordinary day flooded with the love and affection from the most precious creation of God- Our Children. That was the greatest reward we could receive as Teachers. We take a pledge on this auspicious Teachers’s Day to work with utmost dedication and selfless spirit to achieve the objectives of our school…

My Teacher
My teacher is the best, the best there ever was
My teacher is the best and I love her just because,
She always tells me stories and reads to me my favorite book,
When I want to see any picture
she always let me look,
She helps us all to get along and teaches us to share
She taught me to be kind and always play fair.
Some time I fall and hurt myself and then I start to cry
But she helps me to feel better and helps me dry my eyes
And I love her just because she teaches us to dance and she teaches us to sing, she teaches us songs and it’s my favorite thing.

I love her just because, when I spill and
make a mess
my teacher helps me clean, she’s the greatest teacher that
